Project overview
IndustrialThe Agrogreen Gamasa plant is a sorting, packing and export station for agricultural produce in the Gamasa Industrial Zone of Dakahlia Governorate, designed by Al-Khawas for Engineering Design & Consulting and built by EGCO as main contractor.
Work started with excavation for foundations and dewatering on a high water-table site next to the canal, followed by the reinforced-concrete superstructure of the production halls, cold stores, administration and service buildings. EGCO then closed the envelope — external and internal walls, doors, windows and façade finishes — and laid the heavy-duty industrial floors that the packing lines and forklifts run on.
The plant is now operating: the aerial film shows the completed complex, the illuminated main building and the packing halls in use.
